Hello everyone! In class we'be learning about globalisation and its effects on our society. The world is smaller than before and many countries far away, are closer together. Cultures are getting ver similar. However, we've also learned that even today, there are cultural differences that we must know and respect. I am writing this post to let you know about rights and responsabilities in Spain, in case you want to come and visit. It is important to know that you cannot smoke or drink alcohol here until you are 18. Not that you want to anyway. I think that in some other countries you can buy tobacco at 16, but not here. About driving, it's a pity, because you have to be 18 years old. We learned that in the USA you can drive at 16, that would be really cool. Here in Spain, we have the right to express ourselves freely, however, you need to be responsible and do not offend others with racist comments or insults.
